I am reading a book called "Home to Big Stone Gap" by Adriana Trigiani. It is about a woman who has spent her whole life worrying about things she can't control. She is finally realizing that she can't worry about everything. She has to just enjoy life and the things that happen. It's a great lesson for me, too!

We read Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch by Eileen Spinelli today in class. This book is about a lonely man named Mr. Hatch who gets a valentine from a secret admirer. He begins to help people and be kind. It really makes him happy!

ReplyDeleteuno blue ribbon beagle.by Stephanie spinner. its about a beagle hwo is famous and does all kind of dog shows and it talks about other dogs too like poodles. thats was my favorite books.p.s i forgot to tell you this it was real pictures.
ReplyDeleteI read a book called A GHOST NAMED FRED, by Nathaniel Bencheley. It is about friendship between a lonely boy named George and a ghost named Fred, they looked for a treasure when they found ,Fred gave one coin to George and he decides to keep as a secret between them.
ReplyDeleteGeorge uses his imagination to don't feel very lonely and have a friend.

ReplyDeleteThis book is about believing in yourself. Sam and Stuart didn't believe in their Dog Bingo because he was sleepy but he actually won the Dog Show. So remember always believe in yourself!

ReplyDeleteI wanna Iguana by David Catrow. Its about Alex and his Mother fighting over if Alex should have Mikey's Iguana when he moves. Alex told his mother this Iguana can be the brother I always wanted, then his mother said you already have a brother. But my brother is a baby and all he does is burp and poop. Alex gives his mother lots of reasons that he should have the iguana. So she finally gives in and lets Alex have the Iguana.
ReplyDeleteLocked in the Libray, by Marc Brown. It is about Arthur and his friend Francine. They have a fight with each other. Then their teach makes them work on a team together. They get locked in the Library at night doing a report. They have to work toghter to make it. They learned about heroism and looking out for each other.

Henry and Mudge and a Very Merry Christmas, by Cynthia Rylant. The main characters are Henrey and Mudge and they learn the best present for Christmas is having family and friends around.
