Picture This!
Sometimes when you are reading, the author does such a great job of describing something, that you can picture it in your head. It's almost like you are watching your own personal movie. What are you reading? What pictures are you making in your head? Can you hear anything? Feel anything? Describe what you are experiencing as you read.

ReplyDeleteBy: Bill Cosby
What gift would you give the main character? Why?
I would like to give little bill a telescope because in the story it told us that little bill wants to get a telescope because he wants to be the first one to see a oort cloud. He tried very hard to think of ways to raise money to buy the telecople at the end of the story they have a food drive and he won cause he donated the most food in the food drive.

ReplyDeleteThe relitives came.
Do you think the setting is real or imaginary? Why?
I think that the setting could be real because this story could really happen. They got in their car in Virginia at 4 o'clock in the morning and drove all day and night to get to the realives house. They had to sleep on the beds and on the floor. The realatives helped their realatives fix what was broken and worked in the garden. After the work was done they got back in their car and went back to Virginia to pick their grapes.
THE GIRL WHO LOVED WILD HORSES
ReplyDeleteWould you like to have the main charater as a friend? Why?
I would like to have the girl as a friend because she likes wild horses and I like wild horses too. I would like to go in the woods but I don't want to live there. I would like to become a horse like the girl did.
Chicken Sunday
ReplyDeleteWhat advise would you give the charater and why?
I would tell Ms. Eula that she should not tell the kids to boil chicken bones and gravy and pour it on the grave because dead people can't eat.
Cam Jansen and the Mystery at the Haunted House
ReplyDeleteDo the ideas of kindness, helping and making the world a better place emerge in this book? in what ways?
Cam figured out who stole the wallets and she worked together with the security guard to get the wallets back to the people. She was 4 given passes to come back to the park for month for free for helping catch the thief.
Cam Jansen and the Catnapping Mystery
ReplyDeleteWhat did you learn from the main character that could be useful or harmful in your own life?
It must be very hard to have a photographic memory because it is hard to remember everything you see in a picture. I learned to pay more attention to things around me.
